New Location Open! Come visit us!

The New Effingham Public Library is open!   If you haven’t had a chance to make it in, check out the video from WXEF (Thanks especially to Greg Sapp and Wayne Moran for making this possible!) or just dial 217-239-9905 and listen to our staff share their own tour of our library using our Guide by Cell service!

See our Facebook page to stay connected and like  and follow us on Facebook as we continue to unveil more!  Follow us on Twitter or text EPLLIB to 66746 (message and data rates apply) to stay in the know too!

New to our library is the Art Gallery and north Art Wall.  Local artist, John Gabb, is our featured artist this month.  Art highlighted for this show includes his Corvette series as well as landscapes and pieces from his “Faces of AIDS” series.

Learn more about how artists can exhibit their work at the library with our “How do I Show My Art or Photography?”

Check out our September/October Newsletter to see all the events planned. Remember you don’t have to have a library card to visit, use the wifi or computers or attend any library programs.
