First Search is provided free of charge by the Illinois State Library to all public libraries.  First Search contains databases of current periodicals and other online resources, some full-text.  This database can be accessed from home with the library's username and password.

eLibrary Plus is a full-text article database that contains current news and research information.  Many journals provide full-text.  No username and password needed if you use eLibrary at a library computer.  Ask for a username and password for home use.
