OCLC First Search http://newfirstsearch.oclc.org First Search is provided free of charge by the Illinois State Library to all public libraries. First Search contains databases of current periodicals and other online resources, some full-text. This database can be accessed from home with the library's username and password.

Electric Library
eLibrary Plus is a full-text article database that contains current news and research information. Many journals provide full-text. No username and password needed if you use eLibrary at a library computer. Ask for a username and password for home use.

This provides access to libraries across the state that participate in ILSCO, typically the colleges and universities. If you want to order a book you find in I-Share, please contact a library staff member. Home access is available to IO by clicking on the above link.

As a print subscriber to the Value Line Investment Survey we also have access to their online database at the library. Click the above link, and then from Value Line's home page click on the Print Subscriber Service button. This database cannot be accessed from home! Sorry!

NoveList is a Readers' Advisory database that allows users to search for their favorite book or author and then find similar reading material. No username and password is needed when using NoveList on library computers. Ask for a username and password for home use!
