The library is seeking funds this year to reboot our technology, specifically our public access computers and laptops that can be deployed to remote locations. We want to ensure that the technology that we are offering to the public can meet the demands of today. Our current laptops are 9 years old and don’t support the video and audio connections that are required for today’s “zoom” environment.
Besides updating our technology, your donation will help us keep our building open so that the community can access critical technology services, serve youth and adult learners who’ve had their schooling reconfigured and support parents who find themselves more deeply in the role of supporting and encouraging learning.
